As you know, to Be Connected program was created in direct response to elevated suicide rates in Arizona and is focused on exploring ways for the VA to enhance community partnerships to provide resources and care and assistance to veterans in need. I work to secure the development of a new vet center. It's called the Vet Center Outstation in Sierra Vista, specifically set up to support veterans with mental health questions and concerns. This is extremely important to us given that I have almost 80,000 veterans and in our district. (01:57–02:10)
