And since 988 began back in 2022, we've seen a 110% increase in the number of calls. So demand is rising across our Commonwealth. And 988 has proven that to be a much needed lifeline for Pennsylvanians. And As the need for that support continues to grow in our commonwealth, I recognize that we at the state level have a responsibility to do more. to meet you where you are and to invest in the important work that you're doing, the important calls that you're taking, and to expand access to people who want to chat and text as well.
