My grandfather homesteaded the place that we're on. Grandmother also. They worked hard. My folks worked hard. Took it over in the 40s, and Charlotte and I have been on that place since 1978. Agriculture is the number one industry in [Montana]. the state. Making sure that Montana values and our Montana way of life is protected is really important because the new people coming in oftentimes want to change Montana into the place where they came from.
