And even if you believe the war powers is constitutional, and that's a very debatable, valid question, it doesn't require the president to notify Congress until 60 days. And so The president is perfectly within his constitutional Authority under Article 2 to take this action to defend and protect America's national security interests. They are doing that with great success. We ought to be cheering our troops on, praying for their safety, rather than getting out there and demagoguing this and turning it into a political issue, which is what the Democrats in the Senate are doing.
