And I told them that you it takes two weeks just to get something across the Senate floor, let alone negotiate and strike a deal. And of course It took Democrats 10 days to submit their list of demands [for DHS funding]. The White House turned around and you know, pretty much 48 hours came, came back with a counter proposal.
