I grew up in a federal housing project. We grew up in a little place called Mayberry Village in East Hartford, Connecticut. And When veterans returned from the Second World War, they rented initially, but they had a chance to get a place to live and then ultimately to buy their own home. And it was all funded through incentive by the federal government. Service above self and rededicating ourselves to this great city of Hartford, the communities, 169 communities all across the state of Connecticut and to the United States of America. (08:24–08:36)
