And I'm one of two people in the Senate that has served both as a mayor and as a governor and therefore dealt with the unintended consequences of bad legislation, poorly written legislation. I'm the only scientist in the Senate, someone who's actually published scientific papers in peer review. So I understand the scientific method and all these cuts in science.
