Despite our overreach of government, we have been able to maintain an environment where people flourish when they work hard and are innovative and come up with good ideas. Europe can't keep up with us because they squash every good idea. They squash innovation. China can't keep up with us because they squash liberty and freedom, freedom and capitalism. And I'm just like, tell you what, the more I experience this country and the more I experience other countries, the more grateful I am to have this opportunity to represent Utah and to just be a citizen myself.
