The Second Amendment is as much a part of our Constitution as the right of free speech or freedom of the press. That's why it's included in the first 10amendments, known as the Bill of Rights to the Constitution. This is why I introduced the Concealed Carry Reciprocity act, which would allow people with concealed carry privileges to exercise those privileges in other states that allow concealed carry. It doesn't change the law of the individual states, it just prevents a gotcha from occurring when a gun owner inadvertently crosses into another jurisdiction that doesn't have the same laws as their home jurisdiction.
