We created the largest surplus in state history to that point. We took a rainy day fund that had a couple hundred million dollars and built it up to almost $2 billion. We navigated our way through Covid, and in the time of COVID it was a point at which government actually had to work. We need to make sure that we got resources to small businesses that were failing, to family farms that were in danger of closing for people who couldn't afford to keep a roof over their heads.
