And I know this is your legislation, so I suspect that perhaps this is a tougher request for me to make. But I would certainly implore my colleagues on this committee to reconsider their support for this legislation. I don't think that [the legislation] is in the best interests of judicial economy or adherence to the rule of law. I get it. You're frustrated. I understand that temptation. But we don't respond by changing federal law so that judges can no longer provide the kind of equitable, inherent and injunctive relief that they have provided since the inception of our republic.
