Robert Kennedy, another one of my heroes who was here in New York, came and was involved deeply in the civil rights movement, suffered the same fate. So I returned to my hometown in Wilmington, Delaware to start to practice the law. Delaware had been segregated, was segregated by law. And Delaware had been a slave state that fought the side of the north. After Dr. King was murdered, the city of Wilmington and some of you know this studying and being from there, the city was in flames. (30:04–30:07)
