Labor Talks, Season 3 - Episode 16 - Jodi Emerson

Published | Video Starts at 03:30

Labor trafficking is really hard to pick up on because it's what people would consider a normal job. We see it in our area sometimes in the agricultural industry, but we see it in restaurants, in nail salons. There's been a few massage parlors that have popped up where we suspect that there's human trafficking happening. Oftentimes there's a language barrier with those people. And so it's really hard to figure out what's happening behind the scenes with somebody. (03:30–03:36)
