Let me just also suggest that one way to protect the security of people in this country is to not engage in reckless and unnecessary wars halfway around the world. And when that happens, that Congress actually [should] live up to its constitutional responsibilities and debate and vote to authorize or not authorize those wars. But we all know the issue here. I feel like this is like watching reruns because we've had this discussion before members want to vote on legislation that has a warrant requirement for searching US person data in the Section 702 database.
