July, August, September, October and November have been the safest in recorded history on the subways, excluding the pandemic years when many fewer people were taking the trains and transferries are at their lowest levels ever. Even when you include the pandemic years, New York are safer on our subways now than they have been in years. And they are feeling safer too.
