City hall plays a really important part in making sure that we have the economic development that we need. And that's why I'm fighting for universal childcare. I'm also fighting for public safety because We need more mental health services to get those who are severely mentally ill out of our subways, off our streets, and into institutions where they're properly taken care of. But this is also about tackling our affordable housing crisis and making sure that we are building housing that is not only really affordable low income rentals and making sure that NYCHA is getting the repairs that they need.
