And until that law is changed, whether it's by the D.C. council or Congress, the citizens of this district will not be completely protected. And we're pushing for critical legislative changes. Second chance amendment reduces the sentence, even mandatory minimums. If you're under 25 and the legislature has said, you know, you've got to serve 5 to 15. If you're under 25 in the district, judge can give you probation. Like the case I always talk about the kid who goes on the bus, shoots another kid. (20:05–20:20)
