I just hope that as those arms were twisted that people were actually negotiating in good faith and getting assurances for the people that elected them and sent them here to Congress. It is so disturbing that we have elected officials that are consistently giving up their constitutional authority, whether we're talking about tariffs, whether we're talking about taxes, or whether we're even talking about our budget as a whole. It's time for the House to stand up and recognize we are a separate, co equal branch of government and do right by the people that sent us here instead of allowing somebody who literally sold so many people just a bag of goods.
