No. The separation of church and state actually comes from a letter that Thomas Jefferson wrote in 18, I think it was 1804, to the Danbury Baptist association saying there will be a wall of separation to protect churches from government. And now folks have taken that statement from that letter and said, now it should be a wall the other direction. That was never the intent.” (01:33–01:46)
