“Let me tell you about some of the common sense reforms I've been pushing for. Last Congress, I introduced legislation to allow legally operating cannabis small businesses to access SBA loans and programs. Last year, I helped introduce the bipartisan Safer Banking act to allow these legal businesses to access banking and insurance services. But we are not done yet. We ultimately need to legalize marijuana at the federal level while we get there. One thing we can do right now is to reschedule cannabis, something I'm pushing the FDA to do.” (00:49–00:58)
