For the last few years, I've been working closely with a diverse range of local stakeholders, from conservation and outdoor recreation groups to local governments and tribal communities. Well, to draft a proposal that strikes the best balance. And I'm proud to announce that I'm introducing the Truckee Meadows Public Lands Management act. which will do just that. This bill, while it will permanently designate wilderness and protect outdoor spaces, will support local tribal communities and protect cultural resources. (01:15–01:20)
