Sometimes they're doing things like spying on their fellow citizens, which is fundamentally bad. Okay, so here's a crazy story, and I just learned more about this in the past couple days. There was a Wall Street Journal story about how the Chinese had hacked into the Verizon and AT&T networks. Okay. You probably didn't see the story. It didn't make a whole lot of waves. My understanding is that part of the infrastructure that they hacked into was built on top of surveillance systems that were implemented in 2001. (27:16–27:25)
