… Islamophobia, that anti Muslim bigotry, is now one of the last acceptable forms of bigotry here in Washington, D.C. It seems like it. And you know, I will say that University of Berkeley just did a study on Islamophobia and they asked Muslims if they believed that institutions in Washington, if they believed that Islamophobia is something that they would be protected from. And about 84% of them said no. And so, so many of us have accepted the reality that people don't condemn Islamophobia and have allowed it to fester.
