My Safe Transit act and the Build America act will streamline transit projects and ensure folks have the transportation options that they need. This bill also includes language to ensure that American tax dollars stay in America. The Build America incorporates my Paving the Way for American Industry act to keep jobs and taxpayer dollars in communities like Muskegon. When it comes to chemical manufacturing, it's good for our economy, good for our supply chain. Finally, my efforts to ensure that coastal communities like West Michigan stay at the forefront of American innovation were included in this bill. (03:04–03:14)
