I also believe we need independent redistricting commissions in every state because we only get fair outcomes when every state is held to the same basic standard. Unfortunately, President Trump keeps pushing to redraw districts in lines and in states where he can maximize his partisan advantage. That maneuvering means that Democrats and Republicans will just keep going back and forth trying to rebalance the inequity he's creating.
