Just this week in Congress, we passed the Water Resources Development act out of our Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. And I'm so proud that the $115 million for environmental infrastructure projects that I fought to secure was included in the package that was passed out of the House TNI Committee just this week. With this money, this means that Kent, Muskegon and Ottawa county, as well as the State of Michigan, will be ready to swiftly address stormwater, wastewater and surface water resource infrastruct.
