Last week, we talked about Congress's oversight of war powers. Today, I want to talk to you about Congress's responsibility to oversee federal agencies operating right here at home. Congress has a constitutional duty to ensure that domestic federal agencies, including the FBI and ICE, operate with transparency and accountability. It's literally our job. Recent events make that need, the need for strong domestic oversight, painfully clear. Last week, an ICE officer shot Renee Nicole Goode in Minneapolis. (00:16–00:26)
