I was excited to spend some time on the floor last week describing and talking about Wyoming's coal industry. We have been the leading coal producing state since 1986, and In 2024, we produced 191 tons of coal and shipped 171 million of those tons to 26 other states. Wyoming produces about 40% of the nation's coal at about 85% of all federal coal production. So obviously, this is such an important resource for our state. (09:23–09:34)
