Why do you think this is such a divisive issue among Democrats and Republicans after all this time? The top five states that benefit from their residents getting health care as a result of the Affordable Care act tax credits are all states won by Donald Trump. They include West Virginia, Wyoming, Alaska, Tennessee and Mississippi. 45% of the people who are on the Affordable Care act right now are Republicans. 35% Democrats and 20% independents.
