So from an accountability standpoint, if someone breaks the law, this is a pretty simple, non controversial American principle. They should be investigated and prosecuted criminally. The administration is incapable of doing that. And so State and local law enforcement should explicitly have the authority to investigate crimes committed by DHS agents in their state and local jurisdictions. We also are strongly of the view that masks are completely and totally unacceptable. It's incredible to me that Republicans passed legislation, their signature bill, the thing that they're proudest of. (15:03–15:21)
