And in that bill, they enacted the largest cut to Medicaid in American history. Hospitals, nursing homes and community based health centers are closing all across the country, including in Louisiana, because of what Mike Johnson and Republicans did in that one big ugly bill. And at the same time, they cut SNAP benefits by $186 billion.
