When we went up Monday, we spoke with Sheriff Dale Schmidt and asked him that very question. And his response in his defense was that, look, we have a contract with ice. We don't know the exact number of detainees that they have there. It may be as many as 100. They say that we're just contractors. All we do is detain people and provide transportation.
