And the city of Tempe is leading the way. They're leading by example with what they did recently with the passage of the worker protection ordinance. City employees working outside are now guaranteed shaded breaks, water and safety training [in Tempe]. This keeps Arizonans safe and reduces health risk down the line like kidney disease and lower chances of developing heat stroke.
