Forgive me for a second here while I try to draw the world, but here is the border. And the truth is, immigration doesn't start at our southern border. It starts in people's home countries. And so I wrote the Migration Stability Resolution to start taking on immigration from a different angle. We need a better immigration system, but we also should stop policies that are pushing people out of their home countries because of war, lack of investment and us driving poverty, sometimes with our own policies as the United States.
