If a criminal gets arrested, a dangerous criminal, and gets confined and then is released back on the streets and then another vicious crime occurs that goes beyond a societal problem. That's a governance problem. And What was needed here was a correction of governance to make sure our system was no longer broken and we would keep these people behind bars. Most of the bills passed with overwhelming bipartisan support. I spoke to Dallas County State Senator Royce west about the legislation.
