Because people were being murdered, crazily murdered, by people who have been murdered, somebody else before and arrested and let out on bail. This is crime and murder caused by government policy. That government policy needed a change. And that's why We were able to get the votes needed for a constitutional amendment as well as the votes needed for three very powerful bills that completely overhaul the broken bail system that we've had in the state of Texas.
