So a lot of the lead strategy behind this came from a person who was my former Solicitor General when I was the Attorney General of Texas. The strategy was twofold. One, We really wanted to pass a law that did more to protect life than ever before. And I think that we can all agree, we should all be able to agree that every child with a heartbeat should be spared from the ravages of abortion. (08:56–09:02)
