And a reason for that is because current Texas law allows property taxes or the appraisal of property tax property to go up 10% a year. That must change. Because 10% a year compounded just makes your property taxes go through the roof. We must reduce that 10% per year appraisal increase to no more than just 3% a year. And as opposed to having your property reappraised every year for property taxing purposes, have that reappraisal process take place only once every five years. (05:19–05:27)
