I've outlined the most robust property tax reform ever that will cut property tax bills in half and save the average homeowner about $3,000 a year and property taxes. They include stopping spending by the property taxing authorities that impose property taxes. They include requiring a vote on any proposed property tax increase and require 2/3 vote approval before property tax increase can go into place. They also change the way appraisals work in the state of Texas. Right now it can go up 10% a year. I want that to be reduced to no more than 3% a year. (03:37–03:46)
