Texas is a law and order state. Our law enforcement officers risk their lives every single day serving and protecting our communities to honor and respect our law enforcement officers. Last week I issued a proclamation declaring October as Law Enforcement Appreciation Month. I urge all Texans to join me in thanking our law enforcement officers for what they do to keep our state and our communities safe. (00:56–01:03)
