There are some people who apparently are under the impression we should only enforce our immigration laws if the people who came here illegally committed another crime. If you think about it for two seconds, that's completely ridiculous. Right now, every year in this country, about 850,000 new citizens are allowed to be. Are naturalized citizens. 850,000. Okay. When I was a child, that was under 200,000. And that's without taking into account people who become citizens because of birthright citizenship, which is not even intended under our contribution.
