Another one of the debates is what we should do to encourage Americans to have more children. And President Trump has proposed a $5,000 credit for people having children. I think that might not be quite right. I personally prefer a new $5,000 exemption [for people having children]. but nevertheless, there's no time in life in which people are more financially strapped than when they have young children.
