There's almost been like a gold rush really of data centers coming. Greg Abbott gave them very rich tax breaks, so they don't pay any tax, for instance, on electricity that they consume. We're losing about a billion and a half dollars a year [due to tax breaks for data centers]. But the reason why rural Texans don't like it is because there are no rules in these areas.
