In 2024, DOE announced 300, or excuse me, 430 million in funding for 293 projects across the country, including projects in my home state of Michigan through this program as part of the bipartisan infrastructure law. However, It's my understanding that until recently, this funding has basically been frozen by the administration and that even now, not all that funding has been released. And I can tell you my state desperately needs these investments. This is old, aging infrastructure that needs to be improved to prevent the kinds of things we're seeing in Northern Michigan now.
