And really that's what pushed me back into politics because I started my law enforcement career in 2011 and Colorado was, as we typically are, well above the national average for our crime rate. Colorado is still a nice, safe place to live. And In the ten years that I was a cop, from 2011 to 2022, we watched Colorado go from above the national average, better than the national average for crime rate, down to where currently third worst in the nation. For crime, we're number two for property crime, we're number eight for violent crime. And I watched all of that stuff happen as a, as a police officer, then as a sergeant, then as a lieutenant.
