And I knew I had to make the city safe and I knew we had to find creative ways of putting money back in the pockets of everyday working class people. We put billions of dollars back in paying off medical debt, paying college tuition for foster care children, lowering the cost of childcare from $220 a month to less than $20 a month and extra tax for working class, no income tax for low income New Yorkers.
