In our year's first week reception, we've announced plans for a new memorial to Honor the over 100 service members from New York City who made the ultimate sacrifice, the post 911 wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Today, we're excited to announce that Nationally acclaimed sculpture Dow Blumberg has been chosen as the artist for this vital memorial. All right. With hundreds of historicals, historic and inspiring works, he has been hailed as America's greatest sculpture. His America's Response Monuments statue, just blocks from here, pays tribute to the Special Forces who first responded to the 911 attacks. (03:20–03:29)
