You were looking at our children were not learning. I've been on Rikers island more than any other mayor in the history of the city. speaking to inmates and correction officers who help. Both are overwhelmingly black and brown. And so when you look at what I inherited and then you fast forward to today, with all that we've gone through, we have more jobs in the city's history.
