Our laws protect retirement accounts so that they can provide some basic security and Americans can retire with some real dignity. Our laws should not be rewritten to boost Wall Street's profits. Already, Private equity firms have taken advantage of the system to cheat workers out of their pensions. They've used loopholes to take out local businesses and bring home big bucks for themselves. We shouldn't let them get their grubby hands on our retirement accounts as well. (05:06–05:12)
