This is intended simply to make it harder to vote. And I want to double tap this because Michiganders weighed in on the ballot on this very issue. In 2018, Michiganders voted in a law that said that anyone could vote absentee for any reason, and it passed with 67% of the vote. And I'll remind you that Donald Trump has won my state twice in the years since voter participation has gone up. I would hope that that would be seen as a good thing. (03:19–03:31)
